Katherine completed a BA at Sydney College of the Arts in Australia, and an MA at Wimbledon School of Art in the UK. She is now Head of Art at Tiffin Girl’s School. Katherine’s own work is often site specific and centred on different aspects of female clothing. This practice is underpinned by historical references and inspiration from the paintings of Gainsborough, Tissot, and Reynolds, and an enduring affection for clothes designed by Christian Dior. The urban origins of this work, placed in a rural setting are juxtaposition to, as well as inspired by land artists such as Nash and Goldsworthy.
