Katherine completed a BA at Sydney College of the Arts in Australia, and an MA at Wimbledon School of Art in the UK. She is now head of art at Tiffin Girls' School. Katherine’s own work is often site specific and centred on different aspects of female clothing. This practice is underpinned by historical references and inspiration from the paintings of Gainsborough, Tissot, Boucher and Reynolds, and nuanced by enduring affection for clothes designed by Christian Dior.
